Security forces arrested a suspected man in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district and recovered a pistol from him, Army said on Friday.
They said the individual whose identity was not disclosed was apprehended by a joint team of police and Army st Tappar Payeen Pattan.
“Based on Intelligence inputs from agencies a Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established today by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice in Tapar Payeen, Pattan. One suspected individual has been apprehended along with the recovery of 01xPistol & other war-like stores.Investigation in progress,” Army’s Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
