Telangana: Five killed, two hurt as autorickshaw collides with lorry

 Five people were killed and two others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Yellandu, Wardhannapet Mandal, in this district in the early hours of Wednesday.

The accident occurred when the autorickshaw occupants were en route from Warangal to Thoruru, according to local police sources.

Tragically, four individuals lost their lives instantly, while another succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

The victims have been identified as labourers who were engaged in honey selling.

The police suspect that the accident might have been caused by the truck driver’s intoxication.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway, the Police added.
