Three persons were killed and three others injured after being hit by a mini truck in Shahr Kotwali area of Sitapur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here
on Monday.
Police sources said that the incident took place late on Sunday night when the speeding truck hit pedestrians and some vehicles near the bus station.
“Six persons were injured in the incident and were taken to the district hospital where three were declared dead,” they said.
Sources said that the deceased have been identified as Abhishek (22), Akash (20) and Afzal (48). “Three injured were referred to the trauma center in Lucknow in a serious condition,” they said.
