Traders Withdraw Strike

A day after the business community of the state had threatened a strike on Saturday, the finance minister Hasseb Drabu has assured the traders that ‘justice will be done’ and their demands will be met with. A business delegation comprising of The President of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mushtaq Wani, Mohammad Yasin Khan, President of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation, and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, President of the Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir met the Finance Minister and got his assurances that all the taxes will be rolled back within a few days. “ It was a very fruitful meeting and the Finance Minister has assured us that all our demands will be met with, “ KCCI President Mushtaq Wani told Rising Kashmir.

The Jammu Chamber has also called of the proposed strike.
