At least two people were killed and a dozen others injured when a gas leak explosion ripped through several homes in Olinda, a city in eastern Brazil’s Pernambuco state, local media reported.
Pernambuco fire department officials confirmed that the explosion resulted in two deaths, aged 40 and 67, and multiple injuries inside affected homes, Brazil’s Globo news network reported on Sunday.
