Ukrainian military shells Donetsk town of Dokuchajevsk

Kiev, (UNI/Sputnik): The Ukrainian military fired 40 grenades at the town in Dokuchajevsk in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the east of Ukraine, the office of the DPR representative in the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination said on Saturday.

“We have recorded a shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Buhas – Dokuchajevsk direction at 00:05 [22:05 GMT Friday]: 40 grenades were fired from an automatic grenade launcher,” the office said.

The authorities of the DPR and the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic started the evacuation of civilians to Russia on Friday, fearing military aggression by the Ukrainian government. DPR head Denis Pushilin expects Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to order for an offensive against the self-proclaimed republics in the nearest future.
