Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Jammu and Kashmir will attain greater heights of development.
Sinha in a message to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, thanked the people of Jammu and Kashmir for turning out in large numbers to welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to shower their blessings on him.
The PM’s historic public rally at MA Stadium was also connected virtually to 285 blocks across the Union Territory.
“I am grateful to my sisters and brothers for turning out in record numbers in both Jammu and Kashmir Divisions despite inclement weather,” Sinha said.
The Lieutenant Governor added that the affection, support and dedication of people to development is the biggest strength of the Administration, adding, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured holistic development of Jammu Kashmir and under his leadership Jammu Kashmir will attain greater heights of development in the future.”
Prime Minister during the public rally at MA Stadium, Jammu, today inaugurated and laid foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over Rs 32,000 crore.
Earlier addressing the rally, Sinha praised Prime Minister Narendera Modi for freeing Jammu and Kashmir from terrorism and corruption by abrogating Article 370 and said that people in the Union territory are now enjoying nightlife without any fear.
Sinha said that there is 75 per cent decline in the terrorism-related incidents and stone pelting is a history now.
