Two members of a family were killed when a car hit a cycle in Kaptanganj area of Basti district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said.
Police sources said that the incident took place when Prem Sagar (40), a resident of Trilokpur, along with his nephew Pramod Kumar (18) was going to Kaptanganj.
“A car hit their cycle killing Pramod and Prem on the spot,” they said.
Police sources said that the car driver has been arrested.
“The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination,” they said.
