A woman along with her three children allegedly committed suicide and their bodies were found from a well in Kohandaur area of Pratapgarh district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that Pramila (38), a resident of Aurangabad village, along with her sons Divyansh (5), Shivansh (3) and daughter Salori (7) left her house on Tuesday on the pretext of buying medicine. “When Pramila did not return till late her husband Sohan Lal launched a hunt, but failed to trace them,” they said.
Police sources said that on Thursday bodies of Pramila and her three children were found floating in a well. “It has been revealed that Pramila’s husband Sohan Lal works in a private company in Mumbai and has come home recently. Pramila was insisting on going to Mumbai with Sohan Lal and she angrily left home with her three children after he refused,” they said.
Police sources said that the bodies have been sent for post mortem examination and the matter is being investigated.
