Woman Killed, 4 Injured In Bandipore Mishap

Bandipore: A woman was killed while four others were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Kehnusa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipore district on Saturday.

According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the vehicle bearing registration number JK01M 9627 met with an accident when it skidded off the road and fell into a canal near Kehnusa village.

He said that the driver lost his control over his vehicle due to slippery condition of the road as it was snowing in the morning. The decease has been identified as Tabasum (32) wife of Mudasir Najar of Watapore village of Bandipore.

In the accident two minor children identified as Humaad (7) and Farhat (5) also got injured who were treated at district hospital Bandipore and there condition was stated to be stable. Mudasir Najar husband of the deceased woman who was driving the vehicle also received injuries while another person who was also travelling with them also got injured. The vehicle was on its way to Sopore from Bandipore when it met with the accident.
