Suhail Khan Girl Drowns
Uri: A 16-year-old girl drowned in river Jhelum in Uri Sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching GNS said the girl identified as Rubeena Bano (16) daughter of Anwar Shah, a resident of Dachi village of Uri slipped and drowned in river Jhelum today evening.
The incident occurred while she was grazing the cattle.
Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed the incident and said that immediately searches were launched to retrieve the body of the girl. (GNS)
