Three people were killed and 13 others injured on Wednesday in a blast that rocked Dehmazang locality in Police District 3 of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan.
“A blast took place around noon on Wednesday in PD3 of Kabul city, killing three people and wounding 13 others,” local television channel Tolonews quoted Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran as saying.
The report added that an investigation team had reached the site to determine the reason for the blast.
However, an eyewitness on the condition of anonymity asserted that the number of casualties could be higher than reported.
A similar blast claimed two lives and injured 10 others next to Russian Embassy in Kabul about two weeks ago.
