The Legitimate Online After cloud burst triggered landslides and flash floods near Baltal area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening,the Amarnath Yatra has been put on halt on Wednsday along both Baltal and Pahalgam routes. The tracks are reportedly slippery due to overnight heavy rainfall and landslides. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr. Piyush Singla told that the yatra has been halted from Baltal route in view of inclement weather and bad road condition.
