As of 10:30 am on Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 6 out of the seven parliamentary constituencies in Delhi, while the Congress is leading in one seat.
BJP’s Harsh Malhotra leading with 8032 votes, while AAP’s Kuldeep Kumar trailing in East Delhi constituency.
In North east Delhi, BJP’s Manoj Tiwari is leading with 34070 votes while Congress’ Kanhaiya Kumar trailing.
Ramvir Singh Bidhuri (BJP) is leading by 12917 votes in South Delhi constituency and Bansuri Swaraj (BJP) is leading by 7556 votes with AAP’s Somnath Bharti trailing in New Delhi constituency. Congress’ Jai Prakash Agarwal is leading with from Chandni Chowk.
The vote counting for all seven constituencies is underway and the fate of a total of 162 candidates will be out by this evening.
This time, the national capital is witnessing an interesting contest as the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) have joined hands under the INDIA banner to challenge the BJP. AAP contested on four seats leaving the rest three for the Congress.
