“Congress committed to maintain integrity of JK”

Srinagar: Urging all secular forces in the Country and State to defeat the designs of anti-peace forces vitiating atmosphere of amity and communal harmony, JK PCC appealed people in all the three regions not to allow any force to harm secular fabric of the State.

JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir while speaking in a public meeting expressed concern over the continuous efforts by anti peace forces to vitiate the atmosphere of amity and harm the age old tradition of brotherhood in the State.

A spokesman said that JK PCC has taken an initiative to hold meetings in every district appealing people to maintain communal harmony and age old tradition of brotherhood.

Expressing serious concern over the future of people and the State, Mir accused the coalition government of PDP and BJP for bringing the state at the verge of disintegration due to their wrong and anti people policies.

Blaming BJP PDP for failing to contain forces harming Secular Fabric in the Country & State, PCC Chief castigated BJP for indulging in politics of exploitation for the sake of getting benefitted politically and its ally PDP which has let down the people in all respects has betrayed people for the sake of coming into power in the State, he said.

PCC Chief said that from the day BJP assumed power at Centre and PDP BJP Coalition in the state, people of the country and State started feeling insecure and helpless, for the fact, both the parties have not able to give good governance as was claimed by them and miserably failed to ensure safety of common people, he said.

Hitting out both PDP and BJP for misrule and wrong polices, PCC Chief said both Coalition Partners are exploiting people on the name of so called development agenda and ACHEY DIN ,  but the fact remains that both the coalition partners has brought the state at the verge of disintegration to serve their vested interests, PCC Chief blamed.

Describing Congress Party as the only unifying force in the Country and State, PCC Chief said that Congress Party represents aspirations of the people and has always worked as a bridge between the communities. He assured the people that it (Congress) won’t allow any force or factor to betray or exploit people and would give a befitting reply to them, he assured.

Terming Congress Party as an instrument of service to the people, PCC Chief said that Congress Party has  always strengthened people and would continue do so, he said.

He said Congress Party would continue to fight against forces communalizing the situation aiming to disintegrate the State and Country, to the people of its ability.

Cautioning the people of the State about the politics of exploitation by both PDP and BJP, PCC Chief appealed people to maintain age old tradition of brotherhood & amity, as that will only lead them to path of development and progress, G.A. Mir said.

Speaking on the occasion Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Syed told the gathering that Congress which is in the service of people since 130 years has taken full care aspirations of people of every community, never compromised on its committed position of maintaining Communal harmony and integrity of the Nation.

Peerzada while cautioning the people about the negative  politics of BJP and PDP in the State, appealed them to remain vigilant and defeat BJP PDP attempting to create regional imbalance to serve their vested interests, he said.

On this occasion Congress Leaders and workers headed by PCC Chief G. A. Mir took out a protest rally protesting against forces vitiating atmosphere of peace and harming Communal Harmony in the State, but the protest march was foiled by police near Khanabal Chowk.
