CBI conducts raids on liquor baron Vijay Mallya’s premises

New Delhi: The CBI today conducted raids simultaneously on the premises of liquor baron Vijay Mallya's properties, and his now defunct company Kingfisher Airlines, across Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa, as part of an inquiry being held in connection with a loan of Rs 950 crore taken from IDBI Bank despite the airline's ratings being negative, sources in the CBI said.
The raids were being held in Mumbai, Bangalore and Goa in the offices and residential places of Vijay Mallya and the premises of his Kingfisher Airlines.(UNI)
