An Election Commission of India (ECI) team on Tuesday met top bureaucrats and police officers, as also senior officials from enforcement agencies including Income Tax, ED, Customs and other officials from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to review arrangements including coordination on law and order ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C said the ECI delegation directed the state teams to enhance vigilance on the state borders to further strengthen interstate coordination for conducting a smooth electoral process.
