Srinagar: Two days after Fidayeen attack on army camp in North Kashmir, another encounter broke out in Manigam area of Kupwara district while massive exchange of fire is going on between militants and security forces.

 The encounter has started in an

area where the army had airlifted the para troops to flush out the militants who two weeks ago killed a colonial in gun fight. Since then the area is under continuous siege as militants slipped away from the gunfight after killing colonial.  The forces had established contact with the militants today morning.

Pertinently, the militants carried a daring fidayeen attack on army camp in Tanghdar area of same region on Tuesday in which a JCO was injured and a civilian got killed. All the three militants later gunned down in massive exchange of fire.
