A man and his daughter were killed and four others injured when a car overturned in a moat after hitting a motorcycle in Neoria area of Pilibhit district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police said here.
Incharge of Neoria police station Udayveer Singh said here that the incident took place when Harish Kumar alias Babloo (48), a resident of Barha village, along with his daughter Moni (20) and daughter-in-law Puja was going to meet his relatives in Maidna village. “Near Maidna village the motorcycle was hit by the car which later overturned into a moat,” they said.
He said that Harish and his daughter Moni were killed on the spot. “Harish’s daughter-in-law Puja, car passengers Rajiv, Meena and Kamla Devi sustained serious injuries in the incident and have been admitted to the hospital,” he said.
