Himachal Pradesh has recorded 420 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours, a health official said here on Tuesday.
6106 tests were performed today. During the last four days there were eight deaths due to Covid 19 in this hill state.
The spokesman of the Health Department told UNI that two Covid 19 deaths were reported from Kullu and Una districts of this hill state, where an 81 year old woman from Kullu district and 100 year old man from Una district died of Covid 19 today, thus the death toll has gone up to 4206 in the state.
Among the fresh cases 151 is highest number in the state from Kangra followed by 89 at Mandi, 43 from Hamirpur , 32 from Bilaspur , 12 from Solan , 16 from Shimla , 25 Sirmour , 19 from Kullu, 13 from Chamba and 10 from Una districts of Himachal Pradesh.
Spokesman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 420 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.
He said that the number of active cases has further gone up to 1863 today .
He said that the number of Active cases included 349 from Mandi, 136 from Shimla, 476 from Kàngra, 279 from Hamirpur, 152 from Bilaspur and 19 from Kullu, 12 from Solan, 73 from Chamba, 61 from Una, 29 Kinnour, 21 from Lahul and Sipiti and 114 from Sirmour, districts of this hill state.
The sources told UNI that there were 317 recoveries today in the state, thus keeping the number of the recovered patients at 311342 today.
He said that 8 Covid patients were admitted today in different hospitals in the state and there were 27 active admissions in the state.
