Indian embassy sets up control room after massive earthquake hits central Japan

 The Indian embassy here has set up an emergency control room to extend assistance and relief after a massive earthquake struck central Japan.

In a press statement, the embassy released emergency numbers and email IDs that can be contacted for assistance and relief.

The numbers are as follows:

Japan has issued a tsunami alert after a series of earthquakes shook the northeastern area, including a 7.4 magnitude quake that hit Ishikawa Prefecture’s Suzu City and nearby prefectures.
