Srinagar: A 25-year-old youth who was injured after shot at by unknown gunmen at Old Town area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday evening succumbed to injuries today morning.
A police officer told GNS that the youth Sameer Ahmad Ahanger (25) succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura here today morning.
Sameer, a shopkeeper by profession, suffered serious bullet wounds in his leg and abdomen and was shifted to a nearby district hospital where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura, he said.
“A case under relevant sections of has has been registered and further investigations taken up,” the officer added. (GNS)
