Iranian Foreign Minister says no ceasefire agreement with Israel yet

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there was no ceasefire or military operation agreement yet, but if Israel stopped its “aggression” no later than 4 a.m. (00:30 Moscow time), Tehran would no longer launch strikes.

Araghchi posted the statement on his X account at 00:46 GMT.

“As of now, there is NO “agreement” on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards,” the Iranian foreign minister said.

Araghchi added that a final decision on cessation of Iran’s military operations would be made later.

US President Donald Trump said on June 24 that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire that would, after 24 hours, be an official end to the 12-day war.
