Israel says plans ready for three more weeks of war with Iran

The US-Israel vs Iran war doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down. On Monday, Israel made it clear that it has detailed plans for a further three weeks of battle. Its military continued to attack sites across Iran overnight.

Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani revealed in a media briefing that there are detailed operational plans for the war with Iran in place for the next three weeks. There are additional plans to extend the battle further ahead, he added.

Meanwhile, Iranian drone attacks temporarily shut Dubai airport and hit a key oil facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The battle is now entering its third week. There is no clear end in sight.

Israel and the United States, on 28 February 2026, launched surprise airstrikes on multiple sites and cities across Iran. Iran lost its Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and numerous other Iranian officials.

Iran responded with missile and drone strikes against Israel, US bases, and US-allied nations in the region.

As a result of the battle, there is not only an immediate surge in oil and gas prices but also widespread disruptions in aviation and tourism, and heightened volatility in financial markets.

Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route, and attacked energy facilities, disrupting global oil and gas shipments.
