Jammu Police have attached the movable property of a drug peddler under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.


The police spokesman today said that the property of the accused, identified as Vishal Kumar of Boot Polish Mohalla, Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, who is involved in various cases of drug peddling, has been attached.


The attachment of the property was executed by the investigating officer in accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act.


The order of attachment was issued as part of the proceedings under the Act, he added.


The spokesman said the Jammu Police reiterated its firm commitment towards eradicating the drug menace from society and will continue to take strict action against offenders under the law.
