JK :BJP insulted us by downgrading Dogra state: Bhalla

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Working President and the Congress candidate for the Jammu Lok Sabha seat Raman Bhalla on Friday said that the BJP government insulted people by downgrading historical Dogra state and asserted that statehood is our right and we shall get it given Supreme Court orders.


Addressing rallies at Letar, Pouni in Reasi, Treyath, and Marchola in Kalakote- Sunderbani, Bhalla lashed out at the Modi government for snatching the rights of people and identity of Dogras by downgrading the historical dogra state and depriving people of Assembly elections for more than five years.


“Government should have restored the statehood immediately, as per Supreme Court directions but it is being delayed without any justifications as well delay in holding assembly elections for fear of losing elections,” he said.


He said that the BJP deprived people of their livelihood, snatching the land of farmers, taking away rights of land, jobs of youth, and trade of locals.


“Price rise is at peak and unemployment has crossed all records of 45 years,” Bhalla said adding that the Modi government has destroyed the future of youth by introducing the Agniveer scheme. He said that Congress has promised to revoke it and hold regular recruitments besides giving one lakh per educated youth, one lakh to poor women, and doubling wages of Anganwadi, Asha, and Mid-day meal workers.
He said BJP is in panic which is why the Prime Minister and Other top leaders are rushing to the Jammu region.


He expressed gratitude to the people for their cooperation and support and said that he would reach out to the people in every nook corner of the constituency and solve the problem of the poor on priority always.


JKPCC senior Vice President Ravinder Sharma, NSUI former India President Neeraj Kundan Shabir Khan, Sain Abdul Rashid, Neeraj Kundan, Yashvardan Singh, Rameshwar Singh ( NC), Bhupinder Singh, Rakesh Wazir, Rajesh Sadotra, Tariq Bhat NC, Abid Aiyaz, Com Om Parkash, Shakeel Mir, Yog Raj, Sajad Tariq several prominent leaders of Congress, NC and other leaders of INDIA Alliance also spoke about the misdeeds and failures of the BJP and problems.


Ravinder Sharma lashed out at the BJP for the biggest loot through the electoral bond scheme and said that the Supreme Court should probe into the biggest scandal of the world and punish the guilty.


He said the BJP has betrayed people by snatching their rights & statehood and said that Congress and INDIA alliance will restore their rights to land and jobs and natural resources to locals.


He said the tremendous response of the people to the Congress party and its candidate Raman Bhalla shows the positive wave in favor of the Congress and INDIA alliance and resentment against BJP is writ large. There shall be a change at the centre this time and in the next Assembly election Congress- NC and other secular formations will form the government.
