A young girl and a boy jumped into the Jhelum river in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, officials said.
The boy, a resident of Dhani Busgran, and the girl from Kundi Barjala, jumped into the river in Shadra Kamalkote area of Uri, near the Line of Control.
A massive rescue operation is underway to retrieve them from the river, the officials added.
