yasin malikGanderbal: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik Sunday urged world powers to find the lasting solution of Kashmir imbroglio for the permanent peace in south Asia.

Malik addressed the first public rally today after long six months restrictions imposed by authorities in Koreg village of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.

Malik said that Kashmiris doesn’t have any grudge if India prosperous economically, however, prior to economic interests it shall endorse the Kashmir dispute and look forward for its solution in the larger interests of region.

He lashed out on international community while maintaining that the world powers have ignored the political aspirations of Kashmiri people for their economic ties with India.

“The youth of Kashmir has been pushed to the walls as the world community overlooks the political instability of Kashmir. Even the Muslim regions in state face tremendous insecurity owing to   growing influence of Hindutva groups led by RSS,” he said while addressing a gathering.

He said in absence of any dialogue, the people of Kashmir have resolved to continue with the peaceful freedom struggle till its logical conclusion.

Malik condemned the arrest spree of youth and accused government of torturing them.

“Peaceful youth are being subjected to oppression like we were prior to 1988. Police oppression forced youth of this land to resort to an armed struggle and rulers by repeating same oppressive measures are pushing youth to the wall and hence promoting violence in valley,” he said.
