LeT Pays Tributes to Slain Militants

Srinagar: Lashkar-e- Toiba Chief Mehmood Shah Saturday paid glowing tributes to the militants who were killed in an encounter in Bawan forest area of Rajwar Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Shah in a statement issued to KNS here saluted the “militants for showing bravery and courage while fighting against the huge number of Indian army for almost a month”.

“During the month long fight around eight severe encounters between the army and militants took place in which “one colonel and 18 troopers of Indian army were killed,” Shah said.

“Four of our militants were killed in the month long operation including our commander," Shah further said while commending the role of Let JK commander Abu Musa.
