Applauds people for taking part in Abu Qasim’s funeral

Srinagar: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has supported the ‘Million March’ program proposed by Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on November 7.

In a emailed statement to KNS, Lashkar-e-Toiba spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi quoted LeT chief Mahmood Shah as saying that the militant organization supports the program of Geelani.

“Kashmiri people should remain careful during the visit of Modi, and to give the Indian prime minister a befitting reply, they should support the rally announced by Syed Ali Geelani,” the spokesman quoted his chief as saying.

The spokesman said that the package which Modi will be announcing “is mere deception.”

“The package is a mere deception which will actually be spent to strengthen the army occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. These packages are aimed to change demography of Kashmir,” he said.

The LeT chief also applauded the people for their participation in the funeral prayers of slain outfit’s commander Abu Qasim, who was killed in Kulgam this week. “Such large participation by people is a clear announcement that freedom of Kashmir is going on the right path. The enemies of the freedom struggle are shaken by such huge gathering of people on funeral prayers’ of slain militants.” (KNS)
