Jammu, May 1 (UNI) A joint team of Army and police on Sunday destroyed a live mortar shell found in a field in Nowshera area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Police said that a local informed that a live 21 mm mortar shell was found in his agricultural land at Lower Nonial after which a police team was rushed to the spot.
“Army was called and it was defused on the spot,” police said.
