The National Investigating Agency (NIA)  on Wednesday attached the residence of separatist fire brand leader Asiya Andrabi in Srinagar.

The team of NIA went to the residence of Dukhteran e Milat Chief at 90 Feet Soura in morning and and pasted the order on its gate.

The residence of Asiya was attached on the grounds of “furthering the terrorist and unlawful activities” from there by the DEM Chief under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

“All the concerned are directed not to transfer, sale or otherwise deal with the said property in any manner, whatsoever, except with prior permission.”

The order was issued by Vikas Katheria, chief investigating officer and maintains, “The NIA has a reason to believe that the property represents proceeds of terrorism,” it adds.

Asiya Andrabi is among the strong and influential separatist voices in Kashmir advocating for Kashmir’s merger with Pakistan or implementation of Sharia law in the region.

She is under detention by NIA for her alleged role in hawala funding and fomenting trouble in Kashmir on behest of Pakistan.
