PaK Cabinet Urges Int’l Community to Play role in Resolving Kashmir Dispute

The Pakistan adminstered Kashmir cabinet has called upon international community to play its effective role in resolving the longstanding Kashmir issue which is imperative for establishing durable peace in South Asia.

The PaK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed presided over the meeting, Pakistan Radio said. 

According to the report the meeting through its "resolution highly condemned the atrocities being carried out in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by Indian security forces and urged the global community to help stop Kashmiris genocide in held territory."

The meeting lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for highlighting the lingering Kashmir dispute in its true perspective at United Nation General Assembly meeting and other international forums, the report said. 

"The resolution stated that four-point peace formula presented by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at UNGA is only a way forward to peace in the region," it said. 

The PaK Cabinet also paid rich tribute to Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif for strongly raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir during his visit to United States and successfully leading the Operation Zarb-e-Azb to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, it said.
