People Protested Across Valley:Huriyat (G)

Srinagar: On the appeal of Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani people everywhere in the Valley Friday came out on the roads and held peaceful protest demonstration immediately after the Friday prayers against the unnecessary harassment and detention of youths, continuous detention of pro-freedom leaders and Palhallan youths and ill-treatment with Kashmiri detainees in the Tihar Jail Delhi.

The pro-freedom people particularly youths today held peace protest demonstration in every district headquarters of Kashmir valley and sent a message to the autocratic rulers of India that they can’t succeed in breaking the commitment and determination of the people of Kashmir towards the freedom movement by subjecting them to the worst kind of state terrorism and we will not allow anybody to damage our freedom struggle.

Many Hurriyat (G) leaders and activists who led the peaceful protest demonstrations at different paces include Peer Saifullah, Advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi, Altaf Ahmad Khan, Sayed Imtiyaz Hyder, Umar Adil Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Rameez Raja, Abdul Ahad Bhat, Javaid Ahmad and Ishfaq Ahmad Khan led the different protest marches in Srinagar while as Hurriyat leaders Nisar Hussain Rather, Bashir Ahmad Qurashi, Mohammad rafiq Ganai, Abdul Rasheed Dar, Sabzar Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Mohammad Rather, Ghulam Mohiuddin Shaikh, Mohammad Abbas and Fayaz Ahmad Bhat participated in different protest marches in south Kashmir including Bijbehara and Islamabad.

Hurriyat (G) leaders Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, Mohammad Yousuf Fallahi, Salman Yousuf, Master Ali Mohammad, Sheikh Mohammad Ramzan, Nazir Ahmad Mantoo and Danish Mushtaq also led different protest demonstration at Budgam, Shopian, Bandipora, Sonawari, Saidpora Shopian, Wanigam Shopian and Hajan Sonawari respectively.

Meanwhile during the protest demonstrations the police arrested Sayed Imtiyaz Hyder and Javaid Ahmad from Srinagar while as police station Sharbagh Islamabad arrested Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activists Ashiq Hussain and Mukhtar Ahmad Dar.
