Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening hailed the
dedication and devotion of BJP Karyakarta Aswanth Paji’s who came to the airport
to receive him without even meeting his wife who had just given birth to twins.
In a social media post, Mr Modi termed it as a very special interaction and conveyed
his blessings to his family.
He said such love and affection of the karyakartas makes him emotional.
“A very special interaction!”, he posted.
“At Chennai airport, one of our Karyakartas, Shri Aswanth Pijai Ji was there to welcome me.
He told me that his wife had just given birth to twins but he hadn’t met them yet”, he said.
“I told him he shouldn’t have come here and also conveyed my blessings to him and his family” ,
he added.
“It is heartening to see that our party has such dedicated and devoted Karyakartas. Seeing
such love and affection of our karyakartas makes me emotional”, Mr Modi said.
