Police Arrested 6 Gamblers In Islamabad

Police arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs.6035 along with the bundle of cards from the gambling spot, police said on Saturday.
Acting on a tip off Islamabad police raided a gambling site in the house of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sheikh resident of Bonpora Akingam and arrested six gamblers who were identified as Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, Reyaz Ahmad Khanday son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Aanchidoora, Ghulam Hassan Naikoo son of Abdul Salam resident of Hangalgund, Kokernag, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Satar resident of Nunwani, Mohammad Yousuf Mir son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Sherpora and Mudasir Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Rashid resident of Arwani.
Stake money of Rs.6035 and 2 bundles of playing cards were recovered from the gambling site, police said.
A case FIR number 19/16 under section 13 gambling act was registered in Police Station Achabal and investigation was taken up.(Agencies)
