Police Detain JKLF Chief in South Kashmir

Police detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Mohammad Yasin Malik along with several other leaders to prevent them leading a rally in South Kashmir.

Malik was arrested at Awantipora today morning.

 According to party spokesman, Malik was on way to Kanelwan village in Bijbhera area.  

“Malik was detained along with Vice Chairman of the Front Showkat Ahmad Bakshi and lodged at police station Pampore,” the spokesman said.
