Police in Ganderbal have observed with serious concern that certain individuals are plying vehicles without valid registration plate numbers, which is a clear violation of Motor Vehicle Rules and poses a significant threat to public safety and security.
In view of this, Police have seized many vehicles and initiated strict legal action against the violators and we assure that such violations will be dealt with firmly under the relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act and other applicable laws in future too.
Vehicle owners and Drivers are therefore advised to ensure that their vehicles display proper, valid, and visible Registration Plates at all times. Non-compliance will lead to seizure of their vehicles and legal proceedings against the violators.
Moreover, SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS has warned all Stunt Bikers to refrain from performing stunts and has directed the field formations to take stringent action against the violators.
