In an ongoing encounter between militants and security forces in Pulwama town of South Kashmir eight persons have got injured among one has been identified as Rouf Ahmad who is suffering a bullet injury in his leg, reports said.
The encounter started earlier in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday. Sources said as soon as the forces heard about the whereabouts of militants trapped in the Chatpora village of Pulwama, they started search operation. However, large number of youths reached on the spot and tried to disturb the anti militancy operation resulting into clashes between the forces and protesters. Further details are awaited.
