Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma (CA) on Wednesday urged the people of Nagrota Assembly Constituency to come together in support of the BJP’s vision of fast-paced development and good governance, asserting that the time has come to transform Nagrota into a model of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Accompanied by Prabhat Singh Jamwal (Treasurer, J&K BJP), Ayodhya Gupta (District Prabhari), Raman Suri (Additional Treasurer), Sunil Raka, Anil Barsala (Sarpanch, Sangar), Captain Prithvi, Ex-Havaldar Bejnath, Karanjeet Singh, Bodh Raj, Ragubeer Singh, Hardev Sharma, and Arun Jamwal, Sharma held a series of public interactions and organizational meetings in Sagoon, Surinsar, and adjoining villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the BJP’s vision for Nagrota is rooted in empowerment and equal opportunity for every household. He appealed to residents to support BJP candidate Devyani Rana, describing her as a leader who represents both youthful energy and a legacy of dedicated public service inspired by her late father, Devender Singh Rana.
“We are not here to make promises; we are here to deliver results. Nagrota deserves the same level of infrastructure, connectivity, and development that the rest of India is witnessing under Modi Ji’s leadership,” Sharma said.
He added that the BJP is focused on strengthening local governance, unlocking tourism potential, and creating employment opportunities for youth. “Nagrota has immense scope for growth, and the BJP will ensure it receives the attention and infrastructure it truly deserves,” he assured.
Prabhat Singh Jamwal said the enthusiastic response from the people reflects their confidence in the BJP’s proven governance model and people-centric approach. “This by-election is not just about winning a seat—it’s about choosing stability, sincerity, and sustained development,” he stated.
Ayodhya Gupta expressed optimism about the growing support for the party, saying that every household’s aspirations align with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’, and Nagrota will play a leading role in realizing that vision in Jammu.(KINS)
