Srinagar: Sharp shooters from different security agencies have taken position in and around S K stadium, the venue for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally tomorrow in the high security Sonawar area of summer capital.

It was 2004 November when a fidayeen attack was foiled near the venue and the then Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s rally was rescheduled and held in the afternoon.

Elite Special Protection Group (SPG) has already taken over the security of the entire stadium, where all sports activities have been stopped and the area has been declared out of bounds for civilians for the past one week.
