Sunjuwan Military Station firing incident is not terror attack: Army

Army hours after the incident of firing on Monday evening cleared that the incident of Sunjuwan Military Station firing is not a terror attack.

“Initial investigations by the Indian Army suggest that the incident in which a soldier lost his life in the morning is not a terror attack,” said the Army in a statement.

It further stated that the cause of the death of the soldier is being investigated.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Army had said that at about 10:50 AM, a few rounds were fired at

Sunjawan Military Station, and one soldier is critically injured.

Operation has been launched.

Meanwhile, initially it was reported that it was a suspected terror attack, which was denied by the Army in a statement later in the evening.
