Security forces arrested a suspect in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district and recovered four hand grenades, Army said on Wednesday.
They said the arrest was made at Kurhama with a team of police following a specific intelligence input.
“Based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Search Operation was launched by IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice at Khurhama, Kupwara today. One suspected individual has been apprehended along with the recovery of 04xHand Grenades and other war-like stores,” Army’s Srinagar based Chinar Corps said in a post on X.
It added that interrogation of suspects by Police is in progress.
The identity of the suspect was not revealed immediately by the Army.
