Ayodhya (UP), May 12 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Kaisarganj Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Thursday said that Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray will not be allowed to enter Ayodhya till he apologises to North Indians.
The BJP MP met the saints in Ayodhya here and sought their support while opposing the visit of MNS chief Raj Thackeray to Ayodhya on June 5. He said that Raj Thackeray must apologise to North Indians then only he will be allowed to enter Ayodhya.
Singh said that Thackeray’s Ayodhya visit is not a religious one, but a political visit. He said that If the MNS chief is ashamed to apologise to North Indians, then should apologise to the saints. “North Indians will be satisfied with this and his sins will be washed away. Otherwise the MNS chief will not be allowed to enter Ayodhya at any cost,” he said.
He said that on June 5 Ayodhya will be fully packed with the people. “Five lakh people will gather here on that day. Whenever there is a crisis before the country then the saints have shown the direction. This movement is for ideology and not for power. Hindus and Muslims are all together in this movement,” he said.
Mahant of Acharya Tapasvi Peeth Chhavani Jagatguru Paramhans said that the demand of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh is justified and the saints and mahants support it. “MNS chief Raj Thackeray gave a very reprehensible statement on North Indians, due to which they were deeply pained. Now that Raj Thackeray is coming to Ayodhya, MP Brij Bhushan has raised his voice on behalf of North Indians,” he said.
