The U.S. and Iran have signed their Memorandum of Understanding to end the war. The signing was supposed to happen in Switzerland on Friday.
US President Donald Trump has personally signed a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran on Wednesday, during a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron in the Palace of Versailles, Axios reported, citing sources.
A photo of the signed document has been sent to Iran and mediating countries, according to Axios.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei also announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, Press TV reported.
According to the broadcaster, Baghaei stated that the text of the memorandum between Iran and the United States had been officially finalised, as both sides had signed it.
