US attacks airport in Iran's Lorestan province

Khorramabad International Airport in western Iranian province of Lorestan came under US-Israeli airstrikes, the Mehr news agency reported on Tuesday, citing local authorities.


The Iranian Red Crescent Society also said that US and Israeli forces struck several cities the same day:

Urmia and Khoy in the West Azerbaijan province; Karaj and Savojbolagh County in the Alborz province; and Shiraz in the Fars province.


This comes as Trump issued a dealine for Iran, saying the US has a plan under which “every bridge and power plant in Iran could be destroyed by midnight Tuesday.”


He emphasised that the campaign could be carried out “in one night,” adding that the Iranian people “might” ultimately benefit from freedom following the attacks.


Meanwhile, Israel has issued warnings for Iranian civilians to avoid railways
Rail services suspended in Iran’s Mashhad following Israeli threat.


Iranian media reports that the governor of Mashhad has announced the immediate suspension of all rail services departing from the city’s central railway station.


According to Mehr news agency, the cancellation of all scheduled trains is a precautionary measure that will remain in effect “until further notice.”
