A rubber boat carrying 55 migrants capsized off Libya’s coast on Feb. 6, leaving 53 people, including two infants, dead or missing, news agency Xinhua reported quoting International Organization for Migration (IOM) on Monday.
The vessel has reported to have overturned north of the coastal city of Zuwara.
As per the IOM reports, only two Nigerian women were able to be rescued in a search-and-rescue operation by Libyan authorities, adding that both survivors reported losing close family members.
