Rajouri: Four persons including father-son duo and two brothers were killed while as three others were injured when a house collapsed in Rajouri district on Thursday.
Reports reaching GNS said that a two-storey house collapsed suddenly early morning at Dolyian in Kalakote area. In the mishap, seven persons got trapped under the debris of the house.
Soon after the incident, locals and police launched the rescue operation and retrieved all of them, they said.
Confirming it, Station House Officer (SHO) Kalakote Tahir Yousuf told GNS that all the seven injured persons were immediately evacuated to Sub-District Hospital Kalakote where two of them namely Abdul Gafoor (30) his son Adil Gafoor (1) were declared brought dead by the doctors.
The officer said that police have taken cognizance of the incident and accordingly, a probe has been initiated with regard to the incident. (GNS)
