‘Modi’s visit not a historic one: Rashid

Srinagar: Independent legislator Engineer Rashid Monday termed Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed’s forecast that Prime Minister Modi’s J&K visit will be historic as a cruel joke. He has also condemned Mr. Mufti for issuing no objection certificate (NOC) to Mr. Modi of being non communal.

In a statement to CNS, Rashid said “May Mr. Mufti tell the world community that if Modi is going to announce India’s willingness to implement UN resolutions on Kashmir, restoration of autonomy , implementation of  so called self rule formulae or is he going to make an un conditional talk offer to Syed Salahuddin and UJC. If Modi does announce any of these measures in Srinagar, one can call the visit historic, but everybody knows it is not going to happen and the speech will be nothing beyond traditional claims and offers. It is better for Mufti Shb to remain within his limits and apologize his people for acting as B team of RSS and Sangh Parivar”. He added that by claiming Narindra Modi not to be communal, Mufti Shb has hurt sentiments of Muslims all over the world and seems to have turned a blind eye towards all that what Modi and his collogues have been doing in India throughout.

“Nobody can forget Modi’s role in Gujrat and UP massacres of Muslims, growing arrogance and intolerance among the right wing Hindu leaders , demolition of Babri Masjid, cold blooded murder of Sohrabudin , Ikhlaq Ahmad  of Dadri , Zahid Rasool of Kashmir and Muslims being even called Haramzadas by the BJP Ministers and how holy book of Sikh’s has been desecrated in Panjab .Let Mufti not forget how Modi’s cabinet colleague VK Singh compares children of Dalit’s with Dogs and how Modi government has created a war atmosphere with Pakistan. Even people are scared of cooking dishes of their choice in their kitchens only because of Modi’s fear” he said.

Er.Rasheed appealed Kashmiri’s to give world community a clear and loud message that they cannot welcome a man called Narindra Modi who has made the life of minorities, especially Muslims , a hell everywhere.

MLA Langate announced that his party will surely receive Narindra Modi in Kashmir on 7th November but with protests and black flags for many reasons, besides India’s failure to resolve Kashmir issue. (CNS)
