Jammu: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar Wednesday met with the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir service selection board Dev Lata and discussed the prolonged delay in the issuance of the final list of the displaced community candidates who have applied for the different posts under the PM package

According to a statement issued to KNS, Ambardar while discussing the matter said ‘”it has been more than a year since the candidates have applied for the posts however the wait has been too long and now with every passing day their impatience is increasing  and Moreover there are so many candidates who have applied but are on the verge on passing the age limit criteria for applying for a particular job and any further delay will be pure injustice to them which should not happen and they all should be accommodated as the delay in the issuance of the list cannot be attributed as their fault  “he added

Chairman JKSSB informed the MLC that the final list is ready however there are two petitions pending in the court of law pertaining to some of the posts however, still the board has written to the secretary Law and asked for their opinion and they (JKSSB) is expecting the reply from the Law Ministry in weeks time and accordingly they will publish the list after that which the chairman Said should not take more than two weeks

MLC also stated that he will also be taking up the issue with the law ministry so that the process is expedited. (KNS)
